Yan Q. Huang is the founder, manager and practitioner of the HACM clinic. She is unique among acupuncturists for having trained in both Western and traditional Chinese medicine. She has dedicated decades of her life to healing, first studying at a public health school for nursing in China and then completing a rigorous graduate degree program in Traditional Chinese Medicine in the US. Though her work as a nurse was rewarding, she was frustrated by the limitations of Western medicine, and decided to pursue traditional Chinese medicine approaches to help patients.
